Eurachem, in conjunction with CITAC and Eurolab, will be running a workshop on "Uncertainty from sampling and analysis for accredited laboratories" at BAM, Berlin on 19-20 Nov 2019.

The workshop will discuss measurement uncertainty evaluation for sampling and analysis in the context of ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The workshop will help laboratory managers and staff concerned with:

a)  Designing and implementing sampling protocols to ensure acceptable levels of uncertainty in results and conclusions.

b)  Developing and maintaining field or laboratory procedures for measurement uncertainty evaluation and reporting to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.


c)  Reporting measurement uncertainty in conformity assessment decisions under ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

The meeting, held over two days, will include invited presentations, discussion and poster sessions. Discussion sessions will include opportunity for short contributed presentations. Details of abstract submission for posters and presentations will be provided in forthcoming circulars.
